Chapter 4 : Mr Collins

       

        These chapters introduce Mr. Collins, who will inherit Mr. Bennet’s property. Make readers aware of Mr. Collins' personality. That took the reader by surprise, because it made Mrs. Bennet worried because he was the heir when her husband died. That means he has the power to kick her and her daughter out of the house. When Mr. Collins arrives, he is heavy, pompous, and dull. His conversation is weighted with overwrought compliments. That make the reader feel distrustful about Mr. Collins.
